Zoo des Sables

The Zoo des Sables is a zoological park located in the region of the Pays de la Loire, in the Vendée, a few steps away from the beaches of the Sables-d’Olonne.

The Zoo des Sables is: More than 300 exotic animals, 55 species, more than half of these species are subject to European or international protection measures, the enclosure of each species has been specially developed for its well-being, closely reproducing their natural environment.

Developed in French and English, the animations are an opportunity to discover certain animals of the zoo during their meal. The thematic days organized at the zoo are real festivals where visitors participate in a playful way to save exotic and local species and learn to discover nature, including their closest.
