La Cave aux Sculptures
The sculpted cave of Dénezé-sous-Doué, a unique work in the West, is located at the heart of an important troglodytic site. The origin of these sculptures is surrounded by a real mystery… The archives have not yet provided enough clues to allow conclusive evidence that the sculptures are contemporary from the sixteenth, seventeenth or eighteenth centuries.
